Both. There are always those who have gone before, and there are always some behind. The question is, who are you following, and where are they going? Important to know, since somebody is following you. I could swear this has been asked but for the life of me, I can't find the original.

i divert

I lead while asking directions......or is that follow while barking directions? Prolly both.
-
Both. I follow God, and lead others to him... So they follow me.

-
Neither. I go my own way. If anyone else who's going the same direction wants to join me they are most welcome to.
-
Usually i am a leader. Most of my friends Follow. But on certain points i follow, because im not to sure if i should be doing it, or if i am right. :]

I've stopped dancing with my husband because I only know how to lead. Following, imho, requires much more coordination. You know what they say about Ginger Rodgers doing everything Fred Astaire did, but backwards and in high heels?

I am both. Depending on the time and circumstances, I take the position that is best suited for me.
-
I tend to follow more often than lead. Otherwise, I get lost.
-
I lead to those following me, but I follow to those leading me

Depends on where we're going. I'd like to think that if I didn't know the way I'd have the sense to follow someone that did. I'm reminded of a true story. Some folks were traveling cross country in a HUGE RV one year and ran into a thick patch of fog that ran for several miles. One could barely see where they were headed. As the big beast of a vehicle cruised along, the driver noticed that no one was passing him on the interstate. Then, looking in the rear view mirror, he noticed that there was a long line of dim headlights behind him. Apparently, other motorists decided to just follow the big thing. Anyway, for a laugh, he decided to pull off at the next exit. The long line of autos followed suit. Then he just crossed over, on to the on-ramp, and back onto the interstate. Again, the cars that followed kept following. The moral of the story; Some just follow the big guy that *looks* like he knows where he's going. That said, I usually end up leading.

I have tried to follow, but usually wrest the reigns out of their hands when it becomes too painful. Lead.
-
I try to follow my lead!
-
I lead, if that fails then I follow.
-
I usually take my own path on my own. I am not looking for a crowd.
