Your baby will have blue eyes. Genes for blue eyes are recessive, that means if you have one allele for blue eyes and one for brown at the same locus, your eye colour will be brown. So you only have blue eyes if both your alleles are blue, and because you and your husband each have two alleles for blue, the baby will inherit two alleles for blue which equals blue eyes. Your eyes are blue because you had to inherit a allele for blue eyes from the blue eyed parent, and your chance for inheriting another allele for blue from the other parent was 50%. So you had also a 50% chance of having brown eyes, but now your baby will most definately be blue eyed.

I don't know! But don't get too excited at first if she's born with blue eyes.... I've known of baby's eyes to change from blue to brown. My daughter's eyes were grey for almost a year. Now they're brown.
