It's always ok to drink water. I don't do the sauna thing, but from what I understand people go in there to sweat out the toxins that get carried out by the help of good 'ol water. Reducing the sodium in your diet can help reduce water retention if that's a problem. Also - If you aren't drinking enough water, you'll find that once you do it'll help you lose weight initially. Add a glass a day till you're up to the right amount ( 8 glasses of 8 ounces ). Keeping hydrated helps keep your body functions 'oiled' up and at their best so they can do their jobs effeciently. I believe the sauna is to help detox your body so it can start flushing out the fat instead of the toxins.

OK, let me start with one thing: Loose = untie, unbind Lose = diminish, misplace You do not LOOSE weight unless it is tied to you. You lose not only water, but some fats and other things when you sweat in the sauna. You need to replace the water you lose. Not only will it help you remove the toxins, but it will help you to feel full.
