Yes many a times. I have lived through not only quite a few floods but also through a deluge.

I like to volunteer for the Red Cross and have been involved in disaster damage analysis, in local and others outside of this area of northwestern Ohio, Indiana several years ago and Toledo and Findley most recently. No flood is any fun! If you wish to volunteer, the Red Cross can always use the help. Do you have a followup question?

Yeah, in Winnipeg 1997, there was a huge almost ice age like Winter, followed by a flood that ruined a lot of houses. Our school took us to help put bags around people's homes and all, and it's quite the sight to see, really. A huge overflowing river, some houses sticking outta it. :/
