How to adjust the high of break pedal of 96' toyota corolla? It is too soft.

    I will try to answer your question based on most type of cars as I have never played with a corolla. If the pedal seems to go down too far before you get the braking feeling, I would say that either you need to adjust your brake shoes, or the brake shoes need replacing. To the soft pedal reason, could be because air has gotten into your brake fluid system. After you have manually adjusted your brake shoes or replaced them, bleed the fluid system and that should take care of the softness out of the brake pedal. If this does not help, ask the question again.
