If a father who is paying child support as handed down in a divorce decree and has rights to see his child and the mother takes that child without notice out of the country without notice to anyone is there a violation to a fathers rights?

    absolutely..as long as nothing has been stated. my sons father has minimal rights..but i still have to notify the courts and obtain permission before i can even move out of the state...i wish you the best of luck in figuring this out..all to often good fathers are still crapped on by the judicial system due to stereotypes..she definately violated your rights as a parent tho

    When I wanted to get a passport for my son to leave the country, I had to get a permission form filled out by his father before they would issue the passport. That was a long time ago, and I don't know if it has changed since then.
