  • I believe the generally accepted answer is True. People recover from brain damage by the undamaged neurones making new connections, not through regeneration of the neurones. However, I believe I remember reading that glial cells can regenerate, and although they are only concerned with supporting the neurones, this would make the correct answer False. How's that for hedging one's bets?
