How come the meat in Wendy's hamburgers are square, but everywhere else it's round?

Not so, krystal burgers are square, small but square...lol

They are square because Wendy's makes their all beef patties fresh. Each morning. In a specially designed machine that processes the fresh ground beef into square paddies. I worked there a while. BTW White Castle and Crystal burgers are also square.

It's a marketing strategy,since the meat is square it makes people believe there is more meat than there actually is.

Their slogan is that they don't cut corners, however, aside from the packaging and grill organizational benefits, I don't think there's really a good point to it.
