Nothing is wrong with homosexuality. The people who say that are confused. Gradually, over time, many of them seem to be dropping that posture, but it's not a clean process: there are regressions and hiccups along the way. The future we are headed toward is free from the kind of ignorance-based discrimination that this attitude produces. Let's just keep walking.

Without imperfections in the world, there can be no opportunity to learn.

Stereotypes, of course. They make women look emotional, minorities look criminal, homosexuals look promiscuous.... They're never good. And people choose to believe them. But homophobia is one of the last -isms which are still acceptable, here. That gives other people the privilege to act like bullies.

And there you have the biggest problem with Christianity or any other organized religion. Obvious contradictions that any thinking/rational person will notice and question. You have to choose between god does not exist or is an idiot, malicious or something else negative. Or the church/bible is not the work of god and is wrong. I after years of study have come to the conclusion that god does not exist and the church is a scam.

People don't understand it that's what's wrong with it. Back in Biblical times it was used as punishment to men who were criminals, they were forced into it as punishment for whatever they did. That's why people think its wrong. God teaches us to love each other and be happy I'm sure he has a reason for allowing homosexuality. Those people have just as much right to happiness as a straight person. They just don't have to flaunt it so much.

God created us as free moral agents. Meaning we have the freedom to do whatever we want. He did this so He could have true friendship with us. Otherwise we would just be robots, true love demands free-choice. Hence in order to have the free choice to love Him that means He must allow the Free choice to hate Him. He had an established order, and man had the choice to go with this perfect order, or to rebel against it. Hence why you have a lot of sad things going on in the world such as evil and suffering. Regarding Homosexuality, people panic and assume it's the most henious sin. It is not, blaspheming God through rejecting Him your whole life is. Homosexuality is just one of the most apparent so everyone assumes it's the worst. It's not. 2 points i'd like to bring up. 1) do you have a standard about what's right and wrong in the sexual life of people? If not, what about beastiality and child molestation. 2) what is the most intimate form of love? What if I said I was intimitely in love with this computer i'm using, Who are you to tell me I'm wrong but how do you know that's not the case?

People and society define and constantly redefine their values, and declare things to be "right" or "wrong", including things that do not necessarily cause any damage to them or society. We must learn to look beyond the "here and now". We should strive for tolerance, understanding, and integration, over intolerance, hatred and segregation. Then society as a whole would benefit.

I know there are a lot of intolerant people out there, so this is probably going to get negged relentlessly, but here goes: The purpose of this life is to learn to become more like our Heavenly Parents. Their Plan is for us to receive all that they have: power, glory, dominion, endless posterity, etc.. This is not to say that we can ever “catch up” to Them; to use mortality as a parallel, the fact that I’m now a father doesn’t diminish the fact that my father is still older and wiser than I. However, They do want us to have all the blessings that They have, and that includes the ability to have children. Homosexual relationships cannot produce children; thus, homosexuality is an impediment to our ultimate destiny and thus considered “sin.” That having been said, we live in an imperfect world, and much of our reason for being here is (as mentioned) to learn to be more like They are. In order to do this, we must learn to overcome temptation, to choose to do what is right despite whatever internal and external influences may come along. Thus, we are each born with different abilities and predispositions: • One person may be naturally good at singing but naturally predisposed to alcoholism. • One may be naturally good at helping others but naturally predisposed to self-mutilation. • One may be naturally good at mathematics but naturally attracted to people of the same sex. • One might be a gifted physician but naturally sadomasochistic • One might be an accomplished salesperson but naturally predisposed to serial murder. The point is that, as mortal human beings, we all have negative predispositions to overcome—things that are inherently negative because they impede our ability to become like our perfect Heavenly Parents. While individuals should not be faulted for having a disposition different than our own, we each need to decide to control ourselves, to keep said dispositions from turning into aberrant behaviors. After all, if someone’s predisposed to serial murder but has enough self-control that he never actually hurts anyone, who cares? That’s the strength of character we’re talking about here, and the common goal that we each must achieve. Make sense?

I like how the answers with the most points are the ones people want to hear but never answer the question truthfully.

The only thing "wrong" with it lies in petty minds (which should be ignored).

God NEVER created the "concept of it".. Satan created the temptation for it. God created Mammals and humans to mate with the OPPOSITE sex. It's UNNATURAL. period.
