Ah, you pose before us all, in great rhetorical, and/or hypothetical notion, a question as unknown to us from the beginning, and hopefully be pondered until the end of days. Now, just as anything generalized as a whole, "GOOD" is subjective unto whom maybe administering it, or receiving it. With that said, as for me, yes, I know it exists, and does so there in each of us. It's not so much the right and wrong of things, as we all know when we are being "BAD" as it's put, no matter what act we might be trying to get away with. No, I am speaking about that place inside of us, from the toughest Marine to the elderly lady who's maybe all alone in life now. That certain place where a unique pressure lives, there just above the breastbone, and up to just behind the voice box. It's unique because it only comes activated when we know that we are being threatened, abused, or when something such as watching two 1/4 mile Towers fall full of tragedies forsaken innocence before our very eyes. All things are relative in this universe, and in it, there’s an opposite action or reaction to something. That little reminder we all have is such a reaction, one that reminds us that where there is hurt, there is the knowledge to stop it, as it comes to us each time one feels fear, and hurt, and tragedy. we learn from those things as not to carry them on, as when one is about to continue the chain, it is there to make us STOP, and think! Wait a minute, I remember how this made me feel when I was a boy, and never would I ever wish to bring another to feel that same way! There, in that seemingly uneventful moment, it has come, that's the good of humanity coming forth! It’s the experiences we are all embedded with in every given moment of our life. It comes as reminder to everyone, as it's not something we can just shut off, though some in history truly knew how to ignore it well. We all need to focus upon that reminder, all over the world, as the good will naturally bring good with it, but, those ones as well that will bring good things by mealy not acting them out in the bad ways. Just by understanding that, it comes, no hate, no abuse, no war, no pain. When those things go away just by sheer absence, in relative action it will bring out that opposite everything has, and then before one knows it, without doing a thing really, good will prevail, just as it should. Now, maybe it’s a pipe dream, maybe it’s a fools dream of something so simple, but, AH it could have only been an instilled good with-in me, for one to even have thought of such a wonderful vision? I think I got ya! Be well all, and PEACE unto you!

If one judges this concept according to conventional useage or how the majority of the world's people think of "good", I would say that the main cause must be compassion. In fact compassion, IMHO, is the root of true morality which is how we treat ourselves and others. swabby
