If love never fails, is it then redundant to claim that one's love is "unconditional"?

    Depends on whether its real love or not. Too many people claim to love too many things for just the word love to mean anything. There are actually three words for love in ancient greek that seperate out which kind of love you are referring to. Eros = passion...can be fleeting, but probably the most consuming in the moment; philia = friendship...virtuous love; and agape = unconditional...selfless, truly encompasing and enduring. So, maybe we should go back to these words today to help clearify what we mean when we say we love someone. :) Not likely to happen though.
