  • I don't think that's necessarily true. I think it depends on how committed they remain to their jobs after they get back to work. Which seems fair enough to me.
  • Taking maternity leave only shows how devoted you are to every part of your life. I think they should consider your ability to do your job when it comes to a promotion, not the fact that some of your other priorities involve a family.
  • Because some employers are still living in the dark ages and believe that a woman will always sacrifice her career for her family and they don't want to give her a chance to prove them wrong. Sorry about the run-on sentence.
