Make eye contact with your customer. I hate feeling invisible. Smile..pay attention..get the order right the first time. If you are asked for something out of the ordinary (Jim always asks for more napkins..I always want 1/2 and 1/2 and not that fake stuff), bring it right away..don't forget. You will make your customers very happy because you will give them the feeling that they matter to you. Good luck! Have fun! You'll do very well! :) ((hugs))

If you sneeze in the milk, replace it before the customer sees you considering serving it anyway

Dont be fake Check on them a couple minutes after you give them their food a see if everything is good or if they may need something else. Keep an eye on their drinks. Eye contact and SMILE.

LOL. Waitress was the only job I got fired from. I don't have the temperament. They have a very difficult and demanding job. Just make sure you take all your breaks and learn to count to 10 before you respond. Good luck, Aloha Girl. I'm sure you can do it.

Really just be attentive. When the drink is low, fill it without asking or having them ask. Flirting is nice, but I really appreciate someone attentive and confident. Be good at what you do and exude confidence.
