If a guy has more then one girlfriend is isnt considered good by anyone other then himself and his friends. Anyone who can look at this objectively knows that multiple girlfriends always leads to someone getting hurt. Hurting someone is never good. This probably stems from the ancient custom of having many wives. Men were seen as the providers and it was the belief that they should have many children. To do this, men took many wives to ensure the survival of many offspring and to take care of the women.
