  • Not me right now- too buisey getting stoned off the wifes desire of Ruff-Luvin methods!
  • Do you mean north americans, which includes Canada, and Mexico.I am not sure about the US,but know that per capita in a highly industrialized nation,Canada has the most pot smokers. For small amounts of pot there is only small fines, like a parking ticket,or it is just taken away and nothing happens, for it is not a criminal offence to carry small amounts. The laws are quite easy going and many walk freely down the streets and smoke pot.
  • It has been estimated @ between 15 ~20 percent of the population *damn gofers won't stay out of our backyard
  • Where do I sign?
  • I would not know:):) That is some bad stuff:):)
  • I'd LOVE to see actual figures, because I think it would be really, really much higher than you'd think. I'd wager upwards of 30%
  • Way more than should be.
  • i'm not exactly sure, but i know that in 2007, more than 14.8 americans smoke pot more than once in a month. so as you can imagine much higher with the people who smoke occassionally added in there. the us population is roughly 301 million people. do that math, that's about 22 or so percent. so i'm going to guess with the others added in of less than once a month, youre probablt lookin around 45%? maybe more. i've heard other people say about 53%, but i wouldnt call them credible.
  • 20% have tried or experimented with pot according to VH1's "The Drug Years". It's big enough that it seems every election since Clinton, the candidates get asked about it and it seems to the guy who tried it (well it was coke in Bush's case) wins.
  • According to the NIH (National Institute of Health) Website this is the Percentage of 12th-Graders Who Have Used Marijuana Monitoring the Future Study, 2007 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 Lifetime 38.2% 41.7% 44.9% 49.6% 49.1% 49.7% 48.8% Past Year 30.7 34.7 35.8 38.5 37.5 37.8 36.5 Past Month 19.0 21.2 21.9 23.7 22.8 23.1 21.6 Daily 3.6 4.6 4.9 5.8 5.6 6.0 6.0 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 Lifetime 49.0% 47.8% 46.1% 45.7% 44.8% 42.3% 41.8% Past Year 37.0 36.2 34.9 34.3 33.6 31.5 31.7 Past Month 22.4 21.5 21.2 19.9 19.8 18.3 18.8 Daily 5.8 6.0 6.0 5.6 5.0 5.0 5.1 So I wonder how many people try it in college? Or quit after (I used to smoke a LOT in high school but only once or twice a year since having kids)
  • A very large percentage. Tend to agree with kennyandthejets. Probably about 45%. You would be amazed at how many diffrent classes, races and ages smoke daily or occasionally. It's quite the eye-opener and just goes to show you how harmless it is. There are many prestigious, high-salaried, up-standing citizens in my city that smoke. I live in a fairly large city, so just imagine.....
