For hiking, waterfalls and honeymooning, I'd say the north shore of Kauai or the east side of Maui by Hana. Both get amazing amounts of rain, and have haunt-your-dreams-forever greenery and scenery. Generally, the windward (east) side and the interior mountains of every island tend to be greener and wetter here. Oahu has by far the most people and buildings, but the east and north shores are still pretty lush, and there are smaller hikes to smaller waterfalls. Much of the Kona side of Big Island is about art, coffee and lava fields, and is pretty dry and barren, but on the Hilo side you'll never want for precipitation. The north shore of Kauai has more places to stay than the Hana side of Maui, so the tradeoff is more shops and restaurants or less people and buildings. Enjoy planning your honeymoon!

I agree with Rich on the north shore of Kauai. Kalalau trail...changed my life.

Maui is the best island for hiking to waterfalls and honeymooning. As we say, Maui is NO KA OI and it's true. Although Hana does have some great waterfalls, you can find them all along the road toward Hana, so they're easily accessible from all parts of the island. In addition to waterfalls, the ocean itself and beaches are incredible on Maui.
