- but do you do it yourself or you go to a beautician? I don't have the guts to do it on myself as it's too painful and I am extremely shy to take off my underwear in front of a beautician! Therefore I shave all twice a week! :)

Yes. I personally would prefer a complete trim over the female standard of most of it other than the patch near the lips.

It's strange to have a little mohawk down there lol.

I'd rather have a patch than a mohawk.

I used to wax women's vaginas for a living... just thought I'd add that as an interesting piece of info.

I like to mix it up personally.. I alternate between shaving and waxing, and if I'm not having regular sex, I let it get a little grown out because of laziness. I think a hairless vagina (with a strip of hair) is sexy and it feels good during sex.

I don't like to wax as much as shave, I only do it when I'm going on a vacation or something, or if I just want to be silky smooth for a week and a half. The truth is that after that week and a half, it starts growing in and can get all red and bumpy, looks gross.

I don't know. I think trimming would be quite common though. Don't know about waxing but it's certainly something I wouldn't want to contemplate having done.
