I once had a female tortoiseshell colored cat. I named her Ralph. I got her home from the ASPCA, looked at her. and ask her what she wanted to be called. She threw up on the carpet. So i said OK, Ralph it is. Ask your cat what it wants to be called. It might give you a hint.
