I had a baked rabbit in Spain, and they cook them with the head attached because they eat the brains. I was so hungry, but this little eyeball was staring up at me. I covered the little rodents head with a piece of lettuce and sastified my lust for food.

Yes I would still continue to eat meat, what's to say they don't already know we're going to eat them? I believe it crosses their mind when they're loaded onto trucks etc, rounded up etc..I'm not there to see it because I don't work on farms or meat works.

You're entitled to your opinion. BUT I'm entitled to mine! What is the motive behind your Q? YOU are a disgrace! You won't even sign your name - other than "Anonymous Blob . . ." Are you trying to shame folks into becoming vegetarians and vegans? Let me tell you something: For THE ENTIRE 26 years I was in the food and beverage business AND all the years since, if I encountered 10 vegetarians or vegans, it was A WHOLE LOT! When those folks requested a vegetarian dish, that's exactly what they got - without any one passing judgment! I think the following MIGHT get you upset. In fact, I might even be DR'ed for this: I killed about 25,000 lobsters; I can't even begin to tell you how many clams, mussels, crabs and oysters I killed and cooked - probably in the hundreds of thousands - if not millions! I won't even go into any stories of the other animals I killed. NOT ONCE did the thought cross my mind I was doing harm to another living being. IF you consider that murder, so be it. I'll accept it. I'll go STRAIGHT TO HELL! As far as I'm concerned I was performing a service for the ladies and gentlemen who patronized the businesses I was working in. If those folks didn't want to eat that delicious food, then I'm sure they would have never ordered it! DON'T even try to shame me into being something I don't want to become or even considered becoming. I AM "A MEAT EATER - a carnivore! I LOVE my steaks Pittsburgh rare or black and blue! I LOVE my roasts VERY rare! I LOVE my seafood! Don't even try to push off your morality, vegan and vegetarian thoughts onto others in the form of a Q! As far as I'm concerned, it simply won't work! By the way: I'm having steak this evening. Care to join me? Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it! VTY, Ron Berue Yes, that is my real last name! Sources: My wonderful family! Graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, New Haven, CT campus. Was in the Food and Beverage business over 26 years. Well, if that look they wold give me would also work on every animal that might eat them too, I might. But if it's just what prey does to predator, I might still be able to eat them. Now since we often raise our own mat to eat, it might bother me if they looked like that the whole time we were feeding and breeding and caring for them. I think I would just let them out and give them their freedom! lol!!!
