Yes, but people are demanding more price reductions. They claim that the oil companies react fast when prices in the world market increase, but don't react quick enough when prices go down.

They've gone down quite a bit. In fact, I heare that here in MO we have the lowest prices in the country. In my neighborhood, they recently got down to 3.34. Today they went up about 20 cents, though. I just love how when the hurricanes come and they "might" threaten the offshore oil refinaries, they raise the prices. Even though most of our oil comes from overseas, why in the world do they do that? Unbelievable.

Interestingly enough, as Presidential election drew near recently, gas prices dropped a good 40 cents. And now, as the Republicans are getting flak over Palin and such, they've started to go back up? Coincidence? Probably.

Yep..we're holding our breath. A couple of months ago we paid as high as $4.70/gallon...we filled up a couple of days ago and paid $3.71/gallon..yesterday morning we passed a station advertising gas at $3.63/gallon. As I said, we're holding our breath! :(

Nope! In fact I live in Il. and I paid $3.76 a gal. yesterday~this morning it is $4.25 a gal. (due to the hurricanes I guess :(

Nope. Prices went up twice yesterday within 3 hours. Hubby called earlier today on his break and said they had gone up again. Gotta love Ike.

Yes! Actually, my mother saw some gas for $1.96! Also, from what I saw statistically, gas prices have gone down nationally a bit.
