The daily show was first, but i'm sorry, the Colbert Report is just hilarious. i love it, i'm watching him now!
-
Colbert all the way! Gotta love that guy!
-
Tough one! I'm a proud member of the Colbert Nation, but I've watched the Daily Show since Craig Kilborn hosted it! Yikes! I'm afraid if I choose one, the other won't like me anymore, and I SO need their acceptance and validation! Ok, the Daily Show. (Please don't tell Stephen!) No! No! Wait! The Colbert Report. (Please don't tell John!) Ugh! How about The 700 Club?
-
DAILY SHOW!
-
The Daily Show. Steven Colbert is just way too silly and non-sensible sometimes. Occasionally I find him unbearable to watch.
-
COLBERT
-
Jon Stewart cracks me up, I especially loved his visit to Fox, where he showed up the stupidity of Hannity
-
Stewart. More down to earth. Colbert goes too far for me sometimes.
-
John Stewart. I love Stephen Colbert and his messed up ear, but John Stewart is the origional. Both shows and people are very similar, but if I had to absolutely choose one, it would be Stewart. His comedy is put together much better than Stephen Colbert, and I love the style of humour that he has.
-
John Stewart. I like that guy...
-
Colbert's dry, droll wit is more sophisticated. Stewart is better with flamboyant humor. So, Colbert because he is more unique than the typical political comedian.
-
I like the Colbert report
-
Honestly, what's the difference, I swear, the same program, repeated twice in a row.
-
Both are funny, but Jon Stewart is the reason for Colbert. And I enjoy his show just a tick more than I do the Colbert Report, I think mainly because of the segments and correspondants, hahah. So I say Jon Stewart.
-
Stewart. Hands down. 1) Colbert would be nobody if not for Stewart. 2) Stewart is always fresh and original, plus does good impersonations. 3) Stewart has great correspondents at his disposal :) 4) Colbert crosses the line too often for me (blatantly wasting power while interviewing an environmentalist, attacking ethnic groups...) 5) There are lots of times while watching Colbert where I just stare - nothing he says is even slightly funny for like 10 minute periods.
-
Jon Stewart all the way.
-
stewart all the way
-
Im a member of the Colbert Nation
-
Good question! Tough call. Stewart is the classic dry humour and presents himself that way. Colbert does more of the parody. . . I do have to go with Stewart. But the bears are always a good theat!
-
Jon Stewart. Jon Stewart is funny, but still gets the point across, especially when interviewing people. Colbert...well, he just makes a lot of dumb and usually offensive jokes. As a person he's funny, but on the show, his persona...it's not that great.
-
Stephen Colbert
-
I will go with Stephen Colbert. He seems to be having more fun.
-
Lets talk truth here people, on one side you have a stewart, on the other a NATION. I would vote on America anyday unless I was a communist. (ie: Liberal)
-
Colbert, for sure. He's much funnier and his show is organized a little better, I think.
-
Stewart!
-
Stewart because better variety. (Samantha is hot!)
-
I am guessing they are comedians since they are in that category. But cannot make a decision since I have never heard of them.
-
I still like the Daily Show more, I think.
-
While I watch and like them both, I think Jon's program satirizes the news a bit better...
-
I haven't seen either in a long time, but I would say the Colbert Report. Alone, I like Jon Stewart better that Steven Colbert, but I like Colbert's show better.
-
the daily show peaked well over a year ago. now jon stewart thinks that if he says 'fuck' enough times he will be considered 'cool' by the college kids and the show won't die. colbert may be currently peaking. both shows have lost their edge.
-
I think the colbert report is better when there is no new important news, but when there is news, the dailyshow out performs
-
Jon Stewart is much more entertaining during the interviews, I just wanna choke Colbert when he gives his.
-
I think Steven colbert has better views :)
-
I like them both. I tend to laugh more at Colbert's show than Stewart's... but when the two are together (i.e., on election day) it's obvious that Jon Stewart is the more talented of the two.
-
Daily show.
-
i remember when kilborn hosted the daily show. it was an equal opportunity mocker back then. not necessarily any better, but not as partisan as both the daily show and the colbert report have become. the daily show RULED when colbert and correll and those guys were there. its a shame, really, that what was once a great show has been split into two mediocre ones. or rather, a mediocre one and one that substitutes the word 'fuck' for any real comedy or biting commentary. don't get me wrong, i like stewart, but the writing on that show sucks.
-
Jon Stewart
-
Ewwwwwwwwwww Stephen Colbert!!!! XP
-
Jon Stewart just doesn't seem funny to me. So my vote's for Colbert! His faces are the best!
-
Daily Show!
-
Jon Stewart isn't funny at all!!! The Colbert report is SO funny, he does the most obnoxious stuff ever!!!
-
The Daily Show. The Colbert Report is funny but can get on my nerves.
-
Damn that's a hard one I suppose CR but barely
-
Oh no, don't make me choose! Well, if I HAVE to pick, I'd say Stephen Colbert has a slight edge over Jon Stewart.
-
that's tough! I'll say the Daily Show
