I believe there is nor eal meaning other than to dance. Many older songs were meant to sound fun, to make you dance, to bring enjoyment, not to be lyrically masterpieces (however in no way am i saying great pieces weren't created at the time, nor that fun songs aren't wonderful either) yea, i think it refers to the actions of your body
