Let's just say that u let a friend hold ur car to go to the store for U. While they were out they got into a car wreck in ur vehicle. Thank GOD insurance is gonna cover all of the damages but, who do u think should pay the $500 deductible u or them? Why?

If they were at fault, make them pay for your deductible. If the other party was at fault, conact their insurance company and get your deductible from them. It's called subrogation. Actually, your insurance company should do it, but they always don't or settle at a discount.

Since you let them take your car to go to go to the store for YOU - then I would think you would be responsible - unless you had an agreement about it beforehand. But because the friend was willing to do use the car - and did cause the accident - they should offer to cover at least some of the deductible

In my opinion I think it would be fair for you both to pay half of the deductible. Your friend for damaging your vehicle, and you for letting them take it in the first place.
