At what level in answerbag can you -4 people for answers and questions? theres some jerk going around all my questions and comments -4ing them, regardless of topic or content.

Around level 30 and level 40 for questions. As for answers, it's around level 30. Dont complain bout the downrating on this site. It happens often and its annoys me when someone would complain about a measley -4 downrate. It's only -4, geez, its not ruining your life.

That happens to me too. Just hope the question has enough points to not be a negative.

Perhaps that was their whole goal. To spend months increasing their stats until they could finally deliver 'death punches' to everyone.

Level 36 for -4 on answers and Level 33 for -4 on questions A word of caution here: Try to see those levels as a filter - "Who does this rule out? Level 35 and below on answers, Level 32 and below on questions." rather than using the info to confirm suspicion, "OK, so-and-so's at level 39, and he disagreed with me earlier in that comment thread, so yeah, it's him." Big mistake to assume you know who downrates your stuff. Huge. For example, a couple of people accused me of -5ing their congratulations questions and answers. I took screenshots that proved I hadn't rated up or down, and showed them. The point is, they were certain I was the downrater, but...they were wrong. Of course, this was a waste of time and energy. All because they held onto "Who downrated me?" For your own peace of mind, try to let it go.

It happens to me all the time. Every morning I find at least 3. Laugh it off. It doesn't come off your points total, but it does come off their % + ratings given, and marks them as a troll.

At Level 33 Professor: -4 on Questions Level 36 Professor: -4 on Answers But don't be deceived. It could be someone who's already capable of giving -5s, but opted not to give -5s to throw people off. I've received several -4s lately, on my recent questions. I reported the downrates via feedback.
