I have a playstation 2 when I put in a game discand try play game from browser it says no data reading disc and never plays the game. It will play a playstation 1 game

If you are actually going into the browser and trying to get your ps2 to actually play the cd, and not just letting it work on its own, that is a problem, obviously. (smiles) I would advise trying all the ps2 cds you have, making sure that the cds/dvds don't have scratches or dust on the reverse side of them. Also, make sure that the cd is the right side up, and no, I am not trying to talk down to you, just trying to cover all the bases. I want to cover the bases for not only you but anyone else who might read this and have a similar problem. If all the ps2 cds you have end up with the same error message, you might need to have your ps2 checked out. WARRANTY. :)

This is a drive error on PS2 models, i'm assuming this is the original ps2 not the slim. Sometimes htey eventually go out and stop playing ps2games/dvds - time to upgrade to a new system bub.
