  • No, it is her show, her choice.
  • no she is very open about being for Obama, I think if she is TOO nice to Palin she would be viewed as sucking up to the republicans, and if she was too mean to Palin she would be seen as a Bully.. shes smart in leaving Palin alone for now.
  • who cares? I couldn't care less how she pouts about our next VP. She's just being petty, when she should be honored to receive a woman who has made such a monumental step, but obviously this act just shows her to be childish and rude and hypocritical - not for the advancement of women at all. Sure it,s her show, but perhaps she could have avoided interviewing her instead of making such a rude statement.
  • Its no secret who Oprah has been backing for this election. I do think her decision sheds more light as to why she is backing him. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/09/sarah-palin-opr.html
  • I haven't seen the statement about it, but maybe Ms. Palin is not such a big Oprah fan (such people DO exist!) and Oprah may have known in advance that Ms. Palin would refuse to be on the show simply for Oprah's backing of Obama.
  • Its Oprah's show. If she finds the woman or her policies insufferable then she shouldn't have to put up with her company, let alone have to speak to or acknowledge her. Its not a news show sworn to impartiality, nor a puppet showcase for people to promote themselves, its the Oprah Winfrey show, ie all about Oprah and what Oprah likes. And anyone who disagrees with that can just go make their own multi-million dollar TV industry based on the strength of their attractive and credible personality, just like she did!
  • Please cut Oprah some slack here, in spite of her slanted views. As I recall, her two previous interviews with O'drama were BEFORE he declared that he was running. I don't believe that ANY Presidential / VP candidate has been interviewed and aired on her show. So what's the big deal about her snubbing Palin? GET OVER IT! Let's keep objective about this. But, to qualify my response ... I am one who believes that Obama is a downright dangerous choice for this country for his extremist views. Furthermore, I may consider voting for McCain (who I dislike intensely) ENTIRELY because of his choice of Palin. The bashing that Palin is getting only serves to underscores the extreme hypocrisy of the opinion-shapers in mainstream media and other leftist ideologs. I just love to see the whackos over at N.O.W. stepping all over their genitals in setting back feminism at least 50 years in a matter of a few days. Way to go girls!
  • Her show, her choice. I would be disappointed if she wasn't "fair" about access to her show. I read where she will not have any of the candidates on her show before the election in November. I appreciate that. If Obama starts to nose-dive, I wonder if that will change.
