You can't edit somebody else's question. Are you sure you haven't confused this site with Wiki Answers.

You can't edit someone else's questions. You only have between 3 and 5 minutes to edit your own before it's set in stone here. You can edit your own answers (no one else's), too, but there's no time-limit. And, you can edit your own (only) comments, but again, there's a 2-3 minute time-limit. All you can do as far as anyone else's questions go, is to moderate them (flag them as Spam/Offensive, Duplicate, Nonsense, or Wrong Category). As far as their answers, you can flag them as Spam/Offensive or Nonsense. You cannot flag their comments. HOWEVER, if there's a problem there, either use feedback, and state the problem (it's best if you use the Question View ("q_view" before the question number in the URL) for them (Click "Read All Answers"), or the Answer View (a_view before the answer number in the URL) for them (use the Permalink for the answer in question), so staff is as close as they can be to the "problem".) You can also contact a CL (Community Leader) - List is in my profile: Look for "Community Leaders". It's best to find one that's currently active/online... Click on their profile and see if they have entered a Q/A/Comment in the last couple of minutes. You can ask them to check out the question on the last thing they did (Comments are best), or send them an email, if they have an address listed.)

With all due respect, WTF are you talking about? This question is confusing. OH! I just had a thought...are you new to AB? If so, someone's yankin' your chain. You can't edit other people's questions, only you can and only for about 2 minutes. If you could, I'd edit this question to save you from looking silly...
