  • Of course. Hang on, I am running out to buy a lottery ticket...
  • i'm sure some people have it.
  • I believe everybody can have psychic powers, but some people are tuned into them better than others.
  • i dunno about "powers" but i think a sixth sense is something that a lot of people have and sometimes feelings or dreams are stronger than others and they can be helpful in the decisions you make in life or in advising some one about the decision they are about to make. i think they are kind of like instincts. follow your senses and it will lead you the best way.
  • I believe that that some people have psychic powers, particularly clairvoyant types who help the police for example. However, there are FAR fewer people who have the powers than there are those who claim to, that's for sure.
  • I think some people have "insightfull" powers. Some things you just cant explain; Some random lady my mom ran into in London .. told her she was going to have four children with two different fathers, move across the earth almost lose one of her sons and leave her second husband +++++ Well its all true ... I dont know what I belive but you have to admit things like that are kindof strange. ...
  • To an extent I do. I don't really believe anyone can directly speak with the dead or anything like that, but I think that me, myself can feel people around me all the time even when Im alone. I feel invisible energy, forces that feel very strong to me. I once predicted a death around my sister; a week later she was in a car accident and the woman that was driving the car in the front seat had died. True Story
  • I'm kind of weird when it comes to this, but I have absolutely no faith in modern day psychics however, I believe in many of Nosrtadamus' predictions however obscure some of them may appear to be.
  • Yes! But in my opinion what most people call psychic powers is spirit (angels, guides, ect. God) telling you things. Everybody has the ability but some just don't know how or don't want to listen. If you have ever had a gut feeling about something that is what I am talking about.
  • YES to a certain extent, most of it I believe is FEELING. Sometimes you can feel what a person is thinkinng . When a person is being very nice to you I still find it possible to tell if they do not like me. I think when two people have been together a long time there is almost a psychic bond. It is often quite easy to tell what a person is thinking or feeling. Maybe it is pschic maybe it is body language. Not very well explained . I find these feelings about people difficult to put into words tonight
  • Yes, and I have some of them and have had since about age 11-12.
  • Hm... I beleive that as we evolve, we might obtain what you are refering to as psychic powers. But currently, who knows?
  • Yes. It's said that people only use 10% of their brain, and I am tempted to think that those who are gifted with psychic abilities somehow have a way of tapping into the dormant 90%. I have seen and heard of people making predictions out of thin air. Not the kind of conmen you see on TV who try to predict what's gonna happen this coming year... I'm talking about plain, normal people you meet on the street. My mom was able to feel that a close relative was going to die, and that happened. In a certain game of chance in our country, I was able to predict which numbers were going to win for one draw. Unfortunately, the person I gave the numbers to [my aunt] didn't bet on them. After that, my aunt forced me to predict which numbers are going to win next. But try as I might, I no longer had success. It's probably not an isolated case. I'm sure most of you have, at one time or another, made an accurate prediction, sadly without remembering how you were able to do it. But it's there. And WE ALL KNOW IT.
  • Absolutely. I hate admitting this due to skeptics but its a new year so why not? I have been psychic since I was a small child. It got so out of hand my Mother brought me to a doctor and he said I had a vivid imagination. When my Mom asked how I knew things prior to happening or speaking to my recently deceased Grandmother, he said it was just child talk (LOL). As I got older it became more intense. If I saw someone on TV missing I knew where they were. If perhaps I had a dream, it would happen within 48 hours. Anyhoo I have worked with law enforcement agencies and parents who lost a child etc. I have found bodies which was not something I wanted to do, and even some in other states. Over the past 4 years or so, when talking online, I received images, names, words, but had no idea who it was meant for, now I usually do. I dont consider myself a medium or anything, and I dont charge a cent, I do it cause I can. You would be shocked at the amount of people I have read for on this site, and online on AOL and Yahoo, and my accuracy is 99%. I cannot make it happen, I dont see spirits, but can see orbs from time to time. I use to be afraid of it, till I realized it was helpful not harmful. There are still people on here I want to ask, but I have been reluctant to do so.
  • Yes I believe that everyone has the potential to develope their psychic powers if they focus, and on occassion we all have psychic episodes which many of us put down to coincidence or chance. I dreamt about a phone call from the hospital the night our son was born. In the dream the nurse said, "Congratulations, it's a boy!" Immediately I was woken by my cell phone ringing next to my head, and it was the same exact call, almost word for word. I also knew our second child would be a girl, and for months prepared everything for a baby girl, only thinking of and deciding a girls name.
  • I believe if we tune into our inner peace - we can find that strengh, and tap in !
  • If you have them then you don't need to ask the question....lol
  • I have no choice. my wife told me that if i did not believe she was psychic, that she would turn me into a frog. What would you do?
  • Yes, some people have an uncanny, accurate, natural gift for this medium.
  • i believe taht if you really think about something and that it is the only thing on your mind, then yes, you can achieve it
  • I don't know; although I have a very strng sense of knowing what will happen. I have many premonitious dreams, many times I just know what will happen... it's very strange, but something I'm comfortable with. I don't know if I would call it psychic. I just call it an extra sense. And I also believe we all have it, only some either pay more attention to it, or just have it stronger.
  • I believe they have existed since the dawn of man. These people have been documented for centuries, and have influenced society dramatically .
  • I am not certain. I do, however, have some belief in karma.
  • Yeah I guess I do...I'm sure there is someone out there who really does have psychic powers but I also believe that a lot of people probably just say that they do to try to get money from people!
  • 100% absolutely. I looooooooove Sylvia Browne.
  • Yes I do. It has been proven to me that they are there and do work!!
  • Yes, I do. I get messages sometimes in my dreams; they warn me about certain people in advance, and sometimes they actually come true! Also I can sense things, sometimes I will get a very bad vibe if I walk by a certain place. About 5 years ago me and a friend sat down in front of a cafe. I told my friend I was getting a really bad feeling so we moved. Well it turned out that 6 months later I met the man who ran the cafe, and we had a really bad relationship and he ended up breaking my heart.
  • I knew you'd be asking this question at some point
  • yes. i believe everyone has psychic powers it's just being able to tap into them. i have had a few psychic experiences myself and it sounds weird but i have to be in a certain state of mind where i'm unaware that i'm doing it! lol sufice to say - it's not often it happens.
  • I do believe there are people out there who have subconciously tapped into their psychic powers. I also think that some people can learn through extensive meditating and training.
  • Yes ... the absence of proof is not the same as the proof of absence ...
  • Yes i do believe in them, but i also believe that you have to tap into them which will happen or not due to your surroundings, spirituality and religion.
  • I believe that some people have the ability to "see" things the rest of us can't. Also, it seems that children and women have a greater ability to tap into this power. I think this may be because women are more intuitive and are better at reading the emotions of those around them. And, I agree with other people here who have said that many children are discouraged from using their special abilities.
  • yes i do, because I've seen it work.
  • Not in the slightest.
  • yip i have experienced telepathy and also believe it to be easily explainable by science. for example ever heard of a simple circuit called a radio, what about the most complex electrical circuit known, the human brain surelely its pretty easy for your brain to transmit recieve similar signals via electromagnetic waves its just a case of managing to be on the right wavelength
  • I do. Well because I do it and was born with it. It's a wounderful gift. If you have it stay strong and proud of this gift. Just remember what comes around goes around. And never use your gifts for personal gain. All the spirits want is your help.
  • Yes, I do!
  • No because I'm not a crack-head.
  • Sure do!! I have the power to make people ask stupid questions! That's why I love AB - it's a really good place to practice my power! :-D
  • I believe if anyone says they are Psychic they are following the Devil and Do not understand what they are saying. they have a evil spirit in side of there body and could harm people even Kill them. Tell them the word of god.
  • I prefer to use the word intuitive rather than psychic, as the latter tends to emit negative images and/or thoughts within our society, unfortunately. Being intuitive is an innate ability everyone has. From a mother's "knowing" when one of her children is in trouble, to "feeling" that the tension in a room is so thick you could cut it with a knife, to a dream you have about a friend being pregnant, only to hear from them the very next day, that indeed, they are pregnant. These aren't evil or unnatural epxeriences but, rather an extension of where we come from...God. Unfortunately, some people don't properly use their abilities-desiring instead to utilize them for the wrong reasons which creates an atmosphere of distrust and/or even downright maliciousness about intuition in general. There are some things that possibly cannot be explained? Acquiring knowledge to better understand why something works the way it does, may not be as important as understanding how we can use the knowledge to be of service to not only ourselves, but to others. Just a thought.... T.L.
  • yes this lady is a amazing her name is mary reeve www.psychicmary.co.uk she has been in a lot of newspapers
  • I do... some have received a gift but should not be for profit. Since it's a gift it should be used to help others in need.
  • Yes. I have experienced them.
  • i do, yes. Do you?
  • Yes, and my late wife had some. Back in 1976, I broke my wrist badly. She was in class at college at the time. She had a gut feeling that something had happened to me, excused herself from class, and hurried home to find the phone ringing off the hook. A friend of ours advised her I was in the hospital. She came there to find me in pain. It was a relief to see her, but when the doctor set my wrist I passed out.
  • In my experiences I have had with true psychics, people who truly had a gift absolutely I do. There are alot of con artists and fake psychics out there, but a true gifted one is a rare find and something I think almost magical. Good question +
  • I knew you were goinig to ask us that how odd...
  • I believe everybody can have psychic powers, but some people are tuned into them better than others.
  • yes , we all have the doorway , it's a matter of finding the combination to unlock it. ;-)
  • Absolutely not. My opinion is that it's a bunch of credulous BS!
  • i dont know if you would call this psychic powers but i can 'feel' very strange forces around me sometimes. like sometimes i just have this feeling that something or someone is there. i can walk into different rooms and feel a change in the atmosphere, its weird....maybe i just have an overactive imagination.
  • No. I have no supernatural beliefs. My reality is based on what is physically observed along with deductive reasoning -- what is sometimes called a naturalistic world view. In this view, burden of proof for extraordinary claims falls on the claimant to produce evidence, because you can't prove a negative. Moreover this evidence must pass certain tests of validity, such as reproducibility. Ordinary explanations for strange phenomena (like floorboards creaking when they expand or contract with changes in temperature & humidity, mimicking footsteps) must first be ruled out -- "psychic" implies something outside known laws of physics, which is an extraordinary claim indeed. I don't believe in psychic powers because I know of no credible, physical evidence that they exist. But wait! There's another kind of "psychic" better described as "stage magician". Penn & Teller, for example, routinely demonstrate "psychic powers" as far as the audience is concerned. But the audience expects to be tricked and applauds when it happens! Proven fake psychics like Uri Geller, on the other hand, claim other-worldly powers while actually performing stage magic (I have personally seen, up close with my own 2 eyes, James Randi bend a key just like Geller does) It's all very convincing. But if you can't see the trickery then how do you know it's a trick? Hence the best debunkers are professional magicians. Ironically scientists are among those most easily fooled by simple sleight of hand & other trickery hidden by misdirection. Another fact that can be exploited. Then there's a technique used by fortune tellers known as "cold reading" (google it), where the so-called psychic seems to know an uncanny amount of information about the customer, lending weight to their authority, by a method that anybody can learn -- described in articles about it. In other words, it's all b******t until someone actually comes forward and demonstrates such phenomena (and collects a $1 million prize from Randi Foundation). I am confident (but nothing is absolute) that this will never happen. Bottom line: No self-described psychic has ever passed basic scientific tests of the validity of the powers they claim. Not any! Most skeptics ignore psychics. Some go out of their way to ridicule them. Either way, psychics deserve no respect.
  • Yes, and I have experienced many. Seeing ghosts, spirits, auras, sensing positive and negative energy, forces in the room, angels, spirit guides, synchronisation (and lots of it!), de ja vu, telapathy, clairvoyance, the feeling of energy surrounding me, clairgustance, claircognizance, lucid dreaming, dreaming the future and communicating with animals.
  • No, I don't believe in that rubbish, nor do I believe in those kooks who claim to have psychic powers.
  • No ghosts in my past; but I still don't know how my wife knew I was having a problem. I still believe she had psychic powers.
  • i want to believe...
  • Some people have them; others don't.
  • I haven't been witness to it but I believe in the possibility they exist. We know so little about our universe that I think it would be premature to rule out many things including psychic powers.
  • ersonaly from experience, hallucinogenics seem to make u feel like u can understand nature, life or people better, by being around them while tripping, or tripping with them because u notice feelings and emotions since ur feeling those things and u can mix and match them in your mind making you feel like you can understand what they are thinking or feeling just by looking at the way they stand, walk, talk, look, act, dress and the body language they use with the emotion they show, and i know people who can accualy answer someone as their thinking it just because the last few words they used and they way they look around or shift their body its kinda weird. But at the same time i noticed how people let it get to them to much and start over analyzing things and making up conspiracy's which they beleive in their own head and accualy start acting crazy and weird because they think their friend's are turning on them or trying t rob them just because they felt a bad "vibe" in the air which may have not existed. those are definatly the side effects of doing LSD, Peyote or anything like mescaline or anything type of bad or strong mushrooms and having the wrong kind of trip can ruin ur mind for LIFE so choose wisely were your going to fry or trip on mushrooms because the wrong environment/mindset and people can put u in a phycotic state, scared state or Suicidal etc...
