Being an engineer my personal preferance would be earthquakes as it is not hard to design a house to account for any suspected earthquake loads. Floods and hurricanes however would cause to much damage to contents and walls.

Earth quakes, they are the easiest to survive unless you start getting up there on the scale.

I prefer to live in "tornado alley" (the Northwest Metro are of Minneapolis / Saint Paul, MN. That doesn't mean that I don't have insurance riders for earthquakes and earth movement. ;-)

I live in an area that's prone to earthquakes and wildfires. I'd take wildfires because one's vulnerability to them can be controlled by either brush clearing or by living in a brush-free area. I've taken steps to protect my house against earthquakes but we have no control over the location or the severity of them.
