you've asked the right person now, Red Delicious I find pretty tasty, but then again, they seem to be firmer than many other types, and my teeth don't approve of it. Jonagolds are good, but if you are looking for just a quick snack, it might not make it. Though they are filling if you have the time and patience to finish them. Cortlands, what can I say? They are the average apple, good taste, not so bitter. But I do like them, don't think I don't. I like mostly all apples. Granny Smith, the prettiest of them all. Not so much good. I don't know. Its just the taste isn't all that appealing to me. Though I guess lots of people like them the best. The sour-savers, anyhow. MaCintosh, they are the same as the Cortlands. They are gold, but you know, they just get old after awhile. Its just the taste they have I guess. Honeycrisp, now thats great. They got the full burst of flavor and eating one is like a party in my mouth. They are good. I like them equally to the Red Delicious. Caramel Apples, thats another story. As good as they taste, my sensitive teeth just aren't good with the caramel. And leave the nuts off, that ruins the taste. Golden Delicious, nay. They aren't good for the price you have to pay for them. They just don't float my boat I guess.

I like almost all of the types they sell in the stores. The one I like the best and is hardest to get is the Winesap apple. The only way I can get them now is to order them online.
-
Pink lady and Fuji
-
Candy apples are good, but Macintosh is gold (pun intended).
-
The ones growing outside my house that I can walk up in season and eat just picked from the tree. And by the by, they're Pacific Rose, sweet, juicy and crunchy.
-
That depends on what you are doing with them. some are really good for eating (honeycrisp, jonagold) and some are good for cooking(gala, cortland)
