It's looked down on because it's infantile. In fact, that is the name of it: "infantilism". If you wish to practice infantilism, I don't care -- but I'm not particularly interested in hearing about it. I might recognize that you have the right to enjoy it all you want, but I certainly don't have to think highly of it in any way (or even want to think about it at all).

Because there are a lot of ill-informed and ignorant people....As you say, you are harming no one. I have worn diapers and plastic pants for years (I do not physically need to be in diapers for any reason)and have hurt no one, committed no crimes and bothered no one. If they see my diapers and don't like it, simple answer, look away

I don't understand why it's looked down upon either, I used to go out, buy some L-XL boys goodnites, and wear them all the time just because it felt good, and it helped me relax. Don't worry about what society thinks, or wants as all it is is someones opinion, and as everyone knows, Opinions are like ass holes, Everyones got one, most of them stink.
