As an undergraduate: Brown. They allow their students an unbelievable amount of freedom in choosing their own academic paths. Also, they have the happiest students in America according to Princeton Review.

As a graduate student: Yale. I'd do their masters program in theatre. The campus has awesome architecture. And it's arguably the most prestigious university in the country.

I have two good friends who went to Yale. Hands down I hear better things from Yalies than I do from other Ivy leagers.

The contacts and the campus/townlife puts Yale over the top.

I think CalTech gets a bad rap, though. I hear it is a GREAT school.

I chose MIT, and I'm mixed on whether or not it was a good idea. I also applied to Stanford and Caltech and was accepted; I probably should have applied to Harvard/Yale/Princeton as well, but I dont think their response would have affected my decision.

If I could do it all again, I wouldn't go to Caltech, but I'd definitely give Stanford more consideration than I first did.
