Question

Help answer this question below.

After a 5-day power outage, my monitor says "no input signal." I see where you said to boot in safe mode and reinstall the video drivers. How do I reinstall the video drivers, and where do I find the drivers for Windows XP?

First off, I used to get that all of the time with my old monitor when it was on and my PC was off. Unlike that old beast, my current monitor has a "standby" mode that it goes to when there is no video signal for more than a few seconds... like after I shut down my PC.

Second, you didn't tell us what sort of video card (or what chipset if you are using integrated video) you had.

Could you give us a little more info, please?
