Help answer this question below.
First off, I used to get that all of the time with my old monitor when it was on and my PC was off. Unlike that old beast, my current monitor has a "standby" mode that it goes to when there is no video signal for more than a few seconds... like after I shut down my PC.
Second, you didn't tell us what sort of video card (or what chipset if you are using integrated video) you had.
Could you give us a little more info, please?

When I use My Laptop (IBM T40) it goes all FRIZZ! So I have to turn it off by pressing the power button!Why My Laptop goes Frizz?
