Mt Rushmore according to National Treasure 2...
Well it sure ain't in Anaheim!
(unless you're Disneyland of course - then, of course, you OWN Anaheim)
Dubai(UAE) has another name ...city of Gold :)
Fort Knox, Kentucky
If I knew and told you would you try to beat me to it or would we partner up and share?
I think the Conquistadors thought it was South of here.
I don't know, it's lost:D
Considering what happened when the Spanish kidnapped and then killed the Aztec chief, one warrior told them "We could have filled the room full 10 times over of what you asked for"
So, probably in the hills surrounding where the last known remnants of the Aztec civilization was.
Start digging!!!
Oh, BTW you might consider (If you got the time) checking some of the area near "angel Falls" I believe in Africa or such. Said to have diamonds laying about on sections of land barely big enough to land a plane, but a helicopter would have trouble.
Still lost.
Do you remember El Dorado? That is supposed to be the lost city of gold, this is in Colombia, South America.
Mexico or Africa.
Where everything else that is lost is...Right where it was left!
Cebola/El Dorado do not exist. There is no such place, all those who have searched did not find. It is a myth that accentuates man's infatuation with gold.
Still lost.
The "City of Gold" really represents a form of lottery. Everybody would like to find the pot of gold, the hidden treasure. To put it another way, everybody (well, almost everybody) would like to get a lot for little output. So we buy lottery tickets today...but before there was the lottery, there was the hidden treasure, the fabled elephant burial grounds (tons of ivory), cities of gold, sunken ships laden with treasure, and so forth. Look at the allure of gambling. The lost city is in most people's imagination, but it has a definite place and we all dream of it at one time or another...in one form or another.
