Yes, I often take the city tours. It find them to be very comfortable. I used to be a tour hostess myself, and so I enjoy being on the other end.
Oh, sure! I've visited many a country and done exactly that.
In Gibraltar, a cabbie offered his services as just such a person. Had a WONDERFUL time and covered a LOT of ground much faster than otherwise possible.
Paris, France; Naples, Italy;, Lima, Peru; Salvador, Brazil; Cartegena, Columbia; Tangier, Morrocco and more.
Some were bus trips, some cabs, some train...all LOADS of fun.
