  • I'm sorry, I know you only asked for one, but there are too many good ones. I'm including computer games as well. *Donkey Kong Country 2 (I like the other two as well) - Beautiful graphics and sound, addictive gameplay and likeable characters. *Sonic and Knuckles - It was all I ever hoped for when it came out. Knuckles is so cool... *The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Great, intelligent storyline with so much to do, in an extremely intricate yet gigantic world. OK graphics as well. *Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots - This was already the greatest strategy game I've ever played, and the expansion pack made it better. It's probably the closest you'll get to being a military general (that being said, I'm anti-war and have a hippie attitude towards life). *Warcraft III - If only for BattleNet. I've spent many fun hours lolling away on DOTA. *GTA III - Revolutionary in the series, and just for games in general. Next to DKC, it's probably the most atmospheric game I've played. It introduced, cemented and refined the concept of open-world gaming where players can explore a great landmass. It also has Chatterbox (players of this game will know what I mean). *GTA: San Andreas - This is the ultimate refining and expansion on the GTA III model, and it's perfectly sized to meet the player's expectations (I never did manage to complete it fully - that's a good thing). *Tony Hawks's Pro Skater 4 - The pinnacle of the series, it's probably the best skating game ever made. It beats all of those before it, and it's sequels have just become cheesey. *Starcraft - It was good for it's time, and it's still fun to play now. Great gameplay. *Warcraft II - It features the most simple, easy to use map editor on any game that's still playable graphically. There's probably more I've missed, but that's my piece for you.
  • Final Fantasy 8. And actually, the whole Final Fantasy series in general (I haven't played EVERY game in the series, but most of them, and 8 is my favorite).
  • NES- River City Ransom
  • Either Final Fantasy 7, or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
