  • Rinse your hands and wash them well immediately. You have given yourself a chemical burn. The length of the exposure (and the strength of the bleach) will determine how bad it will get -- the damage may continue to get worse. Your skin will react about the same way that it does to a bad sunburn -- pain, redness, dry and flaking skin. If you used undiluted bleach and kept your hands in it for more than a few minutes and didn't rinse / wash immediately and very well afterwards, then you may want to visit an emergency room and explain what you did. As I said, the damage may be going on until the bleach is completely neutralized.
