  • tell him she has AIDS
  • You can't. He has chosen to invest himself emotionally into her. Emotion, especially when fueled by an attraction to strong sexual imagery strippers represent to many men, will trump reason every day.
  • Often, the life that a stripper leads would eventually convince your father that his chosen relationship is wrong. Then again, not all strippers should be painted as 'bad' or not a good companion. You can probably do nothing to convince him. He is your dad and I know from this question that you love him and want what is in his best interest but he will discover soon enough if it is wrong or 'just right' for him; with or without your help. Hang in there and see if this 'stripper'-faze passes. :)
  • Just wait till he runs out of singles, then he will figure it out for himself.
  • first i would say, STOP BEING AND IDIOT! then i would tell him that strippers are a fantasy and that it isn't real. WOW! your dad is a dummie because all that woman wants is his money. TISK TISK! why can't he see that. Also, the stripper wants your dad to take care of her financially, so she will no longer have to put her coochies into peoples' face. YUK! where are these woman's dignity?
  • Depends on the situation really. Is she in love with him too? Do they actually have a relationship or is it all in his head? If it's the latter then you need to tell him to wise up. If there is actually something there, then as long as he can put up with her career choice, there's no problem.
  • Eventually his bank acoount will convince him that this is the wrong decision, unfortunately, it will probably be too late at that point.
  • What if the stripper is a really nice, intelligent person putting him, or herself through school by stripping? It's a job. Would you try to talk him out of dating a toll booth attendant or a programmer?
  • I haven't bothered reading the other answers, but so what - she's a stripper, not a hooker. Give them both a break, he's your father, not your son. Perhaps he knows her as a person. Perhaps if you got to know her as a person, instead of as a stripper you might change your mind, or are you more concerned about your inheritance than your father's happiness?
  • What if it isn't wrong?
  • At his age, if he doesn't know by now? I don't think there is naything you could say other than how hurt you are about it. But he knows it's wrong, for sure!
  • In the natural order of things, it is not possible to convince one's father of the right or wrong of his actions. If he is wrong, he probably knows it. If he is right, he won't be able to explain it. Relax and just love your father. You may not approve, but he is still your dad. When he crashes, be there for him.
  • Why is it wrong?
  • You know what. If he's healthy, happy and this person has not tried to commit a crime against him, i.e. steal from him, hurt him, etc...make sure he's seen the movie Sweet Charity...and leave it at that.
  • How is this wrong? I would be a stripper if it fed my children, and be proud to work for money instead of living off of welfare.
  • LOL... your Dads' got more money than brains!
