  • Yup. I already did. I wrote to her about global warming.
  • No, I would not, as I do not believe in global warning. Sorry. [ETA]: I just noticed the -4 rating - please note that I had no part in that and don't plan to.
  • well us as a nation have actually started to acknowlege the problem with global warming which will make a reletivley small step towards fixing the problem, China alone has more pollution put into the air then the world combined America cant fight this alone it will take cooperation of the whole world
  • I would but I left my pen out in my HUMMER
  • Before you get all hot and bothered about global warming, you really ought to try studying both sides of the issue: http://www.junkscience.com/ http://eteam.ncpa.org/ ************** "BobSaccamano: How do you question the validity of one group of scientist while completely believing another group,..." The same question can be asked of you. To be quite honest, I don't really take either side at face value. The main reason I only give links to one side of the argument is because we are inundated by the arguments of the other side with very little discussion of those that disagree with that side. One of the things that the people on the environmentalist side of the argument love to do is dismiss the people on who disagree with them as being shills for big industry or the oil companies. They say that the people who disagree with them are funded by industry. So, of course they are trying to down play the dangers of (enter your environmental issue here) because, if they didn't, they would lose their funding and, therefore, their livelihood. All the while these same people want you to ignore the fact that they get their funding from environmentalist groups. So, if they disagree with their sponsors, then their own funding (and livelihoods) would also be in danger. There is no reason to believe that either side is entirely unbiased. This was one of the points that Michael Crichton made in his book "State of Fear". (Yes, it is mostly a work of fiction, but every assertion that he makes concerning environmental science is backed up by references to the scientific literature.) So, If you want even more on this, I would also recommend that book and looking at some of his speeches (http://www.michaelcrichton.net/speeches/index.html). He is a lot more articulate than I am.
  • I have already expressed my views to the appropriate people about it. Also, for those of you who do not believe in Global Warming, you might have an open mind and look at the movie Al Gore did that has come out on DVD now called "An Inconvenient Truth." And yes, I have looked at both sides of the issue. :)
