Time! ... perhaps we are not actually here and this time is past history? .. perhaps real time is a 1000 years or so ahead and we are just the past result of that future .. like a jetstream for a plane that has already landed? .. Opinions if any? Thanks

time travel is more of a "where" than a "when"

Since:

Time is the Distance, Space or Interval between 1 event and another, Time does not really exist only the events themselves are relevant ...

When I read about history, I would shudder, imagining that they were NOW and became THEN, as much as we are Now and in no time we would be THEN.

Is what makes time travel into the past perhaps a theoretical possibility is if by past we mean alternate reality that mimics our history thereby making it possible for you to really kill your grandfather because he would not really be "your" grandfather?

Suppose time travel to the past is possible. Also, suppose it has been discovered that by going back in time, you erase any future to return to, and you are trapped, perhaps with a younger version of yourself. Do you go back? What would you change?
