My love for family. I saw the inherent hyprocricy of God long ago.

God is always first in my life...I have no family only a few cousins I haven't seen in years.

I'm believe my fmaily is more important. Although God is important too my family is right here infront of me, just about everyday.

There is a passage or story of sorts in the Bible of how God tested one mans love for him. He took away everything he had including family and his source of income and this man never denounced God once. I think that answers your question...;)

God will always come first for me. I knew him first before my husband and we got married loving God together. And when one puts God first, then all other things are taken care of. Jesus put his God first above love of earthly family. He made sure his mother was well taken care of, but his loyalty first was to God.

I don't see an either/or. God created humans to have family. Why would you want to quit either?

Family would always be first..and I believe in my heart that God would support that. But I cannot conceive of any situation that would force me to choose, so the question is purely hypothetical and not grounded in a real-life situation. Family includes children..parents are here on earth to protect,preseve,guide their children..what kind of parent would I be to abandon my child? God would not sanction that, would not condone that, would not want that. "Suffer ye children to come unto me". :)
