  • The new members are those with the basic bronze circular medal with single digit levels, Carbonproduct. Click their names and if they have bios, short or long, you can at least get a glimpse of who they are.
  • Go on there profile and find out there level and how long they've been with answerbag.
  • This is something I really wish the staff could help us with , but I know they are very busy. I did make a suggestion, to include a list of active new members on the AB newsletter, but, this might take a while to actually see. I wish it were easier, as there are so many who come, and go , and who knows, if one of us had known , maybe we could have helped them to stay, and make new friends, and get answers to their questions. Another reason for this is I have seen ( and done it myself at times ) users being rude to new members because they dont know how the place works, or what to do, or how to act, and so on... We really need to form a welcoming party for them, with a list of rules ( nonexistent at this point ) and a smile!!! Great question!!!!!!!!!!!! ☺☺☺☺☺☺
  • just look at most dr pionts, majority are new users, budding trolls or sockpuppets
  • The easiest way to find out how long a member has been by Answerbag is by having a look at their profile: the indication "Member Since:" tells you exactly how long they have been in there. Also, new members have generally few points and low levels, and are not ranked on the all time most points leaderboard. New, very active members could be found in the last week most points leaderboard. A new member gets always the next user ID, for instance my private profile being this: http://www.answerbag.com/profile/?id=147540 this means that I have user ID 147540. At the moment, new users get user ID greater than 1029500; here is a user who registered on Jul 28, 2009 http://www.answerbag.com/profile/?id=1029500
