Grr i am 18 and just got a pay cut from $13.30 per hour down to $8.50... Do you see this as fair..?

NO!!!! That is completely unacceptable. Work, and quietly work on your resume. That is way too much of a pay cut. Take your experience and go elsewhere. That is an atrocious drop.

It would only be fair if everyone else who made the same amount were cut that much.

No, it is not fair. Most employers are letting their "old" work force go and hiring new people at the lower rates, so nobody gets cheated. I'm surprised that they kept you on your job and cut your pay, I don't see how they expect you to do the same amount for lower pay.

No, it's not. Start looking for a new job, when you find a new one, put in your notice. That's inexcusable they would drop your pay that much.

I don't know where you live but here in Nevada you cant get a pay cut with out agreeing to it!!! So I would be taking that place you work for to the labor board and see what they have to say about that!!!
