Yes and no. Just about any piece of electronics can be properly duplicated by someone with the proper know-how. They can also be copied as a cheaper version that will not perform as well-if at all. The problem is either having an original to duplicate, or having detailed plans of what parts are used and how they are connected. You would also face problems of it being illegal to duplicate someone's copyrighted piece of equipment-or finding someone willing to illegally duplicate it.
