What are the colors for the wires i would use to hotwire a 1974 Ford Gran Torino Elite?

Do you own the car? If so.. try and find the two ignition wires and cross them. If not.. try and find the two ignition wires and cross them. You can also "punch" the steering column by putting a screwdriver where the key would go.. and then whacking it with a hammer and turning it.. BINGO you now have yourself a Gran Torino. Whatever you do dont' cut the red wire.. or cross the Brown with white stripe and red with white stripe.. this will not end well.. you'll short out the cars electrical system.

If you lost keys and are just wanting to start engine,run a wire from battery positive to coil positive.Then to crank engine remove solenoid wire at right side inner fender cover and jump from that connection to the main battery cable + side which will active starter. to kill engine remove wire from coil +
