I have an 88 grand prix. when you crank it the first time each day it will crank, but not start. when you push the gas, it will turn, but not truly start. when you push the gas to try to get it to go, it dies. it will start after a few tries, however.

Oh, in addition, the car will start on the first try, any other time that same day. the car has no other additional problems, and has been in my family and well taken care of since it was made. thanks Nick

get some spray top engine cleaner and clean the throttle bore out spray it in wipe it out with a rag do this till its clean
