I want to volunteer for a humanitarian aid group in aboard; does anyone have some information on how I can do this?

If you visit the office of a humanitarian aid ground, they will tell you what volunteer opportunities they have available. If you wanted to volunteer for a group that is abroad (sp?) I would suggest visiting the website of one that interests you and sending an email to one of the contacts listed on the page, requesting more information.

Don't know how old you are...therefore hard to answer intelligently. If you are quite young <24 get lots of volunteer experience on shore first...Red Cross, Aged, Handicapped children, hospitals, special olympics, animal shelters etc. Keep browsing the internet for volunteer organizations whose focus interests you....become a member and receive newsletter, attend workshops and meetings if possible....contact them for info on volunteer opportunities at home and abroad..... Have some real skill to offer....they don't send people abroad just because they want to go to help.... Good luck!
