Sure do. I love my close friends and family, but 'in' love is reserved for romantic love.

When you can finally say, "could you get me a towel?" without hesitation. :D

I agree with sozana. Also, i love my ex (my first love) and my fiancee loves his ex(his first love) yet, we are in love with each other. (At least i hope! Lol. we've been going thru some really rough patches lately.)

Huge difference loving means putting the other person first, before yourself, even if that means exiting this person's life being in love means whatever you wish it to mean.. you "hunger, long for,are desperately lonely without" this person..which puts you first, your wants/needs/emotion..which is not love to me.

There are many distinctions between loving something and "in love" with someone. You love your parents, you love your dog, you love your car and you love money. (don't we all). Being "in love" with someone is a completely different type of love. Constantly thinking of this person, wanting to be with this person 24/7, willing to sacrifice anything for their love....even giving your life for them. This does not occur with physical objects, like your car. there may a few that would, but not the majority. Its like a coin. the coin represents love in general. the heads side represents the person you are "in love" with. the tails side represents everything else that a person loves in life. So, you can see, the heads side of the coin and what it represents, is entirely different than the tails side. Their is nothing, nothing on earth, that satisfies a man or woman more, than being "in love" with each other.
