Yes! When you're apart from each other, and it's someome you've come to trust, it can actually be very healthy and fun. You don't have to go "all the way" while on the phone for it to work. Yes, several times with a "near fiance" - a long distance relationship. Those things were positive. Then once with someone I knew online, but that was negative for me, it left me feeling uncomfortable. Yes, I did it many times with my girlfriend in college when we were far apart. I also did it in later years with a long distance woman friend. I personally enjoyed it, and the women did also.
