  • It's a parody religion invented by a physicist to show how absurd the claims of modern religions are. He stated that he will reward the person who can empirically prove that the Flying Spaghetti Monster didn't create the world with about half a million dollars. This illustrates the stupidity of claims such as 'one can't prove that god doesn't exist, therefore he is likely to exist'. Pastafarians pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM), and they say 'Ramen' after each prayer. There is also something about pirates, but I never got that. I think it's also got to do with global warming, it's says something like 'the rate of hurricanes increased, and the rate of pirates in the ocean decreased. Therefore pirates protect us from hurricans. So it's a parody of wrong used statistics.
  • Welcome to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster! Knowledge of our secretive religion was revealed only a few years ago. Since then, many individuals, realizing the Truth when they saw it, have flocked to us and have been accepted into our ranks. You believe in the Theory of Evolution? Pah! Little do you know that for every experiment these foolish scientists come up with, the great Flying Spaghetti Monster is manipulating the results with a touch of his Noodly Appendage in order to make the earth APPEAR older than it is. He is a wise pasta. We worship him with "Ramen" and by wearing full pirate uniform...because, as you've noticed, global warming has increased as the population of pirates has decreased. We Pastafarians are saving the world from a terrible fate! The truth is, Earth was created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster out of loneliness and drunkeness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uvF-RQsBdg And this is the letter that first brought Pastafarianism to light. http://www.venganza.org/about/open-letter/ Ramen brother, Ramen!
  • Come on over and we can talk about it over some pasta and a glass of Chianti
  • There are many of us out there. Even on Yahoo Answers. pastafarianism is growing. RAmen
